Nerdy girl

As pre-production continues for our team animation project I've come up with yet some more character designs for the main girl and boy in our story. Here are a few more ideas:

Dino-monster?

So...I'm working on designs for a monster a kid dreams up while in class. Here is a quickie of an idea I had!


And what boy daydreaming in class about monster doesn't have a dame to rescue? Here are concepts for the girl in the class.

OK. So here's the pear girlie a little more finished. Added a few more hours of work on there.

Now. Off to re-design my portfolio website and act like I'm going to graduate! Huzzah!

I must be on a pear kick or something. More practice. Yes, I did use the eyedropper to get the colors right-I'm still learning how light works on certain surfaces. Reference picture used. Not from life. Photoshop CS3 + WACOM tablet. Around 30 minutes, I think.
